  1. Recall any program that has already been set up for a product type and target weight similar to the new product and target weight.
  2. Determine the difference between the existing (pre-programmed) target weight and the new target weight.
  3. Press command:
"A" to add value to the existing target weight, or "B" to subtract value from the existing target weight.
  4. Press "E" to enter the difference from step #2 above to add or subtract (always 4 digits --- use leading zeroes if necessary.
  5. Store the new program, using command "E," if desired.*

    EXAMPLE

Suppose program #02 has already been set up for 2.00 oz. of rice, and let's say you have a new requirement for 1.75 oz. of dry beans:

You would recall program #02, press command "B" to subtract, then enter "0025" (the difference between 2.00 oz. and 1.75 oz.).

That's it! You're done. The controller makes the other adjustments, automatically.

You can store* the changes by using command "E" followed by a 2-digit memory location of your choice. Program #02 remains unaffected unless the new information is stored in #02.

*See "Quick Check Guide" for more complete listing of command and set-up procedures and "Supervisor Codes" (paragraph C) if override command is required.
