BASIC STARTUP (REV K2)

1. After assembly, open the controller to ensure all boards are properly seated and secure.
2. Plug unit into electrical outlet only if boards are properly seated and secure.
3. Attach air hose to regulator.
4. Press "Recall Program," followed by the 2-digit program code desired. ¹
   Note: Watch the display monitor and listen for beeper to verify the numeric commands. If the number you pressed does not display, you are either in the "Run" mode (see #9 below), or you are entering the number too quickly.
5. Set hopper slide gate at correct height for that program.¹
6. If there is product already in the bucket, it will be zeroed out and added to the subsequent fill cycle --- NOT GOOD! So, press "5" to empty the weigh bucket manually.
7. Press "RUN" to start operation. For demonstration purposes, the speed has been pre-set to a conservative 10-12 cycles/minute for accuracy. Speed may be increased to 15 cycles/minute or faster, with little or no loss in accuracy, but programming such a change is not within the scope of these simplified instructions. (See "Quick Check Guide" for those details. Remember, you will be provided with unlimited telephone support.)
8. Place a bag under the funnel (see, "User Instructions") and step on the foot pedal. The weigh bucket will open and a new cycle begins.
9. To recall a different program, press "STOP" to exit Scale Run mode², then proceed back to step 4.

² Scale will not respond to keypad commands if in "Run" mode. If any status light ("Fast," "Slow," "Accept," "Over") is on, scale is in "Run" mode.
